28 Days Later with 31’s Richard Brake

This week, Jinx welcomes Richard Brake to the show! An actor who’s appeared in such films as Death Machine, Batman Begins, Hannibal Rising, and Rob Zombie’s 31, Mr. Brake has chosen Danny Boyle’s 2002 thriller 28 Days Later for discussion.

With its super-fast zombies and lo-fi aesthetic, 28 Days Later inspires a talk on the film’s making, its impressive cast, the cinema of George Romero and Danny Boyle, and the movie’s surprising summer success.

It’s a great chat with an excellent guest about a modern classic, and it’s one we hope you enjoy!

Make certain to subscribe to our show on iTunes, leave feedback, tell your friends about us, purchase 28 Days Later and Mr. Brake’s films using the Amazon links below, and give us a yell on Facebook and Twitter.

A great choice of film to talk about, I mean it’s not only one of the best British horror films of all time, but one of the best of all horror films. It’s got everything you need, heart, scares, tension and most of all realism. Also bonus points for mentioning The Day of the Triffids, when you mentioned people waking up alone in a hospital this came straight to mind!
