Black Christmas with Puppet Master comic writer Shawn Gabborin

This week on Scream Addicts, Jinx welcomes Shawn Gabborin to the show.  The editor-in-chief of Action Lab Comics (for which he writes the Puppet Master comic book series), Mr. Gabborin has chosen Bob Clark’s classic 1974 proto-slasher Black Christmas for discussion this week.

With its gloomy holiday atmosphere, shocking violence, and goofy humor, Black Christmas inspires a discussion which touches on the film’s mystery, its place in slasher film history, and whether or not its heroine can be considered a true Final Girl.  Along the way, we discuss the remake, mourn the death of video stores, and briefly discuss…Stallone’s Over the Top?!
