The managing editor of both Cemetery Dance Magazine and Cemetery Dance Online, Mr. Gilliand has chosen Rob Reiner’s 1990 Stephen King adaptation Misery for discussion this week.

In addition to discussing the film’s excellent cast, brilliant script, and Hitchcockian direction, Mr. Gilliand and Jinx use the film as a springboard to have a lengthy discussion on the current state of toxic fandom, how a Misery remake might be updated for today’s audiences, and whether we’ve ever behaved like Annie Wilkes at any point as fans.
