This week on Scream Addicts, we’re doing something a little different!
This episode, we continue with “Gettin’ Hammered with Hammer!”, a recurring side project for Scream Addicts wherein cohosts Jinx and Paul Farrell will sit down with a classic Hammer horror film and play a drinking game as they watch and comment while growing ever more inebriated.
During their discussion, the guys chat about their favorite Dracula films, Christopher Lee’s iconic performance, and the themes of director Terence Fisher’s work, . Along the way, we mull over which directors might be best to resurrect Hammer, Jinx drunkenly rambles on about Straw Dogs and its remake, and…Dracula: Dead and Loving it?!
And then…then we have a lengthy, post-film chat!
It’s something a little different for Scream Addicts, but it’s a commentary we hope you’ll love!
This week was Jinx’s choice, so he chose the alcohol and drinking game rules!
His beverage of choice: Red Comet!
How to Make a Red Comet:
Use a Long Island Iced Tea mix (preferably Captain Morgan’s), then add Grenadine syrup to taste (couple of tablespoons should do ya!). You can also blend in ice, if you’d like!
Jinx’s Drinking Game Rules:
- Whenever you see blood onscreen.
- Whenever somebody says “Dracula”
- Whenever somebody walks up/down stairs
