Wes Craven's Scream with Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas
In this week’s ep, Jinx welcomes Spencer Charnas to the show. The vocalist of kickass horror-influenced metalcore band Ice Nine Kills, Mr. Charnas has chosen Wes Craven’s 1996 satirical slasher classic Scream to chat about this week.
With its razor-sharp script, fantastic cast, and jaw-dropping twist (TWO killers?!), Scream inspires a discussion which covers the film’s making, its impressive musical score and soundtrack, and its sequels and spinoff television show. Along the way, we discuss the iconic Ghostface mask, the uncut version of the film, and the evolving theme which ties the initial three movies together.
